We had an Amazing Wedding followed by an Awesome Honeymoon. Our honeymoon was everything we wanted, our suite was right on the white sandy beach and the ocean water was beautiful light blue and crystal clear. We went horseback riding, gambled at the casino, had frozen drinks served to us while we laid out in the sun a few feet from the Caribbean Sea, went on a safari that toured the island, snorkeled and saw some pretty colored fish, went shopping at the Aruba flea market, went to an ostrich farm, drank some more and listened to the steel drum player almost every night, ate breakfast everyday in a pirate ship, and loved each other ; a lot. The weather was interesting, super hot and humid, yet windy, which kept us kinda comfy. We did get a bad storm one night and the power went out on the whole island... kind of creepy. All in all it was an Awesome trip! We were very sad to leave.
We are now gearing up for the end of Summer and heading into Fall which brings a New Semester (and last) for Mike, and a busy Wedding Season for Ashley. So we decided to take an end of Summer Road Trip. We are heading up to Grass Valley August 19-26. We are very excited, (especially Ashley as Mike has never been to Grass Valley during the Summer), so there is a lot ahead for Mike to see!
